Friday, February 11, 2011, we will tour Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World, located at 1380 Port of New Orleans Place, New Orleans, LA. Tours are from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The cost is $18.50 or $14.50 for Seniors (62+). Those coming from the west side of the lake will meet at 10:30am in the Fresh Market parking lot to carpool. Those coming from the east side of the lake will meet at 10:30am at my home in Slidell. Our tour will be 11:30am and will last 1 hour, after which we will have lunch in the Quarter. A final count for attendance is needed by Monday, February 7. Fee for the tour will be due no later than Thursday, February 10, so all tickets may be purchased at one time. We have a few gentlemen interested in attending this outing and encourage others to participate as well.
