The Lake Pontchartrain Sail & Power Squadron provides boater education for it's members as well as a basic boating course for the general public. Completion of one of the basic classes qualifies one for the Louisiana Boater Operator license. The schedule for Fall 2011 is pending. Please consult the "Calendar" page for information as it is now Because student materials are expensive and change frequently, we order student materials based on the number of members who register for the various courses we offer. Please register as soon as practicable to ensure that we have adequate time to place orders and receive them in a timely manner. We typically want to order the course materials 30 days before the course begins. Thanks.
