Lake Pontchartrain Sail &Power Squadron
is situated on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain 24 miles due north of New Orleans,
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
This
past weekend, a few of us were talking about going to Lafayette
for a weekend of exploring, etc. Friday,
August 6 through 8
were agreed upon on a preliminary basis.
Before
a big research is started, it would be good to know how many people might be
interested. To that end, we would like to have the following sent out by
email to our LPSPS members:

Any LPSPS member interested in going
Where: Lafayette
area for a weekend of fun!
What:
Vermillionville (great little village that shows the old days)
Randol's (Cajun restaurant wit good Zydeco/Cajun music & dancing)
Antiquing/shopping for the ladies
Blue Dog Restaurant
Tabasco tour
Tour of Broussard - George's Mother's home town!
We would have a meeting well before the trip to decide on activities and PAY!
The cost is TBA, but should
NOT be to expensive.

Friday through Sunday, August 13, 2010
How:
A bus would be rented for the weekend.
